Summary

This is a program aimed for family or student groups who wish to know the central coast of Ecuador with its emblematic cities, major tourist attractions, crafts, beaches, cuisine and water sports.

It has an important particular that begins and ends at two airports more important of the Ecuadorian coast such as Manta and Guayaquil.

1. Food (7 continental breakfasts / Manabita 6 Lunches, 6 dinners type menu but preferably prepared dishes based on seafood, you could choose between two options confirming the type of food in advance a farewell ceviche.

2. Tourist transport in a mini van / taxi from Manta until the end of the program.

Itinerary

DAY 1.

8h00: Arrival in Manta - Reception of the Group.

9h00: Breakfast.

10h00: Visit to Montecristi  City- Civic Center and Mausoleum of Eloy Alfaro - workshops of toquilla hat.

13h30: Lunch.

2:30 pm City Tour and Visit to the El Murcielago  Beach of the City of Manta.

7:00 pm: Dinner

 

DAY 2.

9h00: Breakfast.

10h00: Departure to Puerto López. On the way we will visit the Pacoche Protected Forest to observe howler monkeys. (Tentative walk to the Scandinavian lighthouse)

13h00: Lunch at San Lorenzo Beach.

15h30: Arrival to Puerto López. Accommodation.

4.30 pm: Walk along the scenic boardwalk. Visit to the marine mammals ( the FRISK humback whale and dolphins skeleton).

7:00 pm: Cocktail and dinner.

DAY 2.

8h00 Breakfast.

9h00 Transfer to the passenger tourist pier.

9:30 am: Departure to the Isla de la Plata. On the way, there will be whales watching.

10:30 am: Visit Isla de Plata, walk to observe seabirds such as blue-footed boobies, frigates and pelicans, snorkeling in the coral.

15h30: Box lunch.

4:30 pm: Return to Puerto López.

19h30. Dinner.


DAY 4

8h30: Breakfast

9:30 am: Visit to Los Frailes (considered the best beach on the continental Ecuadorian coast, hike to the  scenic viewpoint.) Visit to the little turtle beach (turtle nesting silver and LA PLAYITA characterized by the black color of its sand for the high iron content afternoon of relaxation.

12h30: Lunch.

2:00 pm: Visit to the Archaeological Museum of Salango, Viewpoints of Puerto López and Salango, tours of the beaches of Puerto Rico, Las Tunas and Ayampe to taste the rich shrimp corviches. Relax on the beach

18h00: Return to the Hotel.

7:30 pm: Dinner.

 

DAY 5

8h00 Breakfast.

9:00 am: Departure to the Archaeological Area of Agua Blanca visit archaeological museum, funeral urns, archaeological ruins, sulfur-water lagoon (medicinal mud bath) and Spondylus shell craft shops.

12h00: Typical lunch in the Agua Blanca Community.

14h00: Departure from the tourist dock to see the Playita considered the largest turtle nesting site in the Machalilla National Park, visit the Island of Salango (practice snorkelling, sea kayaking, live sport fishing, bird watching and marine landscapes, rest in the beach.)

5:00 p.m. Return to the Hotel.

 

DAY 6

8h00 Typical breakfast at the fishing terminal.

8:30. Departure from Puerto López along the Spondylus Route in the direction of Salinas.

10h30: Visit to the beach of Olon and Sanctuary of the Virgin Estrella del Mar in Montañita , Ayangue beach and the Marine Park of Valdivia.

13h00: Lunch

15h00: Arrival to Salinas - Accommodation.

16h00: Relax at the beach in Salinas. Banana ride and water bicycle.

8:30 pm Dinner.

 

DAY 7

8:30. Breakfast.

9:30 am: Visit the Coastal Marine Reserve La Chocolatera (the largest outpost in South America) and La Lobería.

12h00: Check in at the hotel

12h30: Lunch.

13h00: Departure to the city of Guayaquil.

15h00: Arrival in Guayaquil / Visit to the Malecón 2000 and Las Peñas neighborhood.

4.30pm: Farewell Ceviche

17h30: End of the Program.
