COST OF VOLUNTEERING

Although the project is conceived as a volunteer program and the work it does in this case our organization is non-profit because the concept and mission is to support conservation activities, research and involvement with the community the volunteer will pay the cost of $ 25.00 per day. Which will be used to cover the costs of food and lodging during the time you volunteer.

 The payment includes:

1. Accommodation in a family home either in the community of Machalilla or in Puerto López while you volunteer.
2. Basic food in the lodging houses, when leaving for the field the volunteer will have to take their own boxed lunch.
3. Training, field coordinator and field material
4. Volunteer identification card
5. Certificate of having participated as a volunteer
6. Water for consumption in the house

Cost of volunteering does NOT include:

1. Transportation to or from Puerto López or within Ecuador
2. Food and lodging outside the project
3. Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, etc.
